It didn’t happen right away. It actually took four rounds of disputes before we saw a breakthrough — but when it came, it was worth it. Experian finally updated multiple late payments to positive status, giving us a solid result to leverage with the other bureaus.

With these updates in place, we’re now in a stronger position to go back to Equifax and TransUnion to argue that their reporting is now clearly inconsistent — and that they, too, must correct it.
